Ty Chandler — Running Back

Freshman

405 Rushing Yards — 4 Touchdowns

10 Receptions — 96 Receiving Yards

Ty Chandler, who didn’t have the benefit of going through spring practice, should easily surpass Carlin Fils-aime on the Vols’ depth chart to be the number two running back.

Chandler, as a true freshman, will still be clearly behind Kelly, but he will see plenty of work.

Kelly is going to see a lot of carries, but you still have to keep him as fresh as possible. Chandler will have the opportunity to show us what he has to offer Tennessee’s offense in 2017.
