8. Evan Berry — Kick Returner/Defensive Back

2014 Class

Evan Berry’s legacy won’t be as impressive as his older brother Eric’s, but he’s made his mark on Vol history in his own way.

Berry, who has started three games at safety in his career, has the Vols’ best all-time kick return average (34.9).

The Georgia native is a threat to score everytime he touches the ball. His 20 yard return (which doesn’t seem like a lot, but it was on a short kickoff) against Georgia helped set up Josh Dobbs’ game winning hail mary pass to Jauan Jennings.

Berry missed the last few games of the 2016 season, but fortunately for Vol fans, they get to see him play one more season on Rocky Top.
