7. Alvin Kamara — Running Back

2015 Class

Alvin Kamara could easily be higher on this list, but he only started 8 games in his two years at Tennessee.

Kamara is one of the best running backs to ever come through Knoxville, but he wasn’t used nearly enough by the Vols.

That’s mostly due to the fact that Tennessee had another very good running back in Jalen Hurd.

Kamara, however, made the most of his opportunities when he received them. He was third in the SEC in total touchdowns in 2016 (13) and seventh in total all purpose yards (1,188).

The Georgia native had one year of eligibility remaining at Tennessee, but chose to skip his senior season in favor of the NFL.
