Tennessee Vols: Butch Jones Top Ten Recruits At UT

3. Jalen Hurd — Running Back
2014 Classs
I understand that Jalen Hurd isn’t a popular figure among Vol fans, due to the way in which he left Tennessee.
But you can’t deny what Hurd accomplished during his three years on Rocky Top.
Hurd has the sixth most rushing yards in Tennessee history, coming in just 39 yards behind Jamal Lewis.
The Tennessee native was a key part of several Vol wins. Without Hurd, there’s no way the Vols beat South Carolina in 2014. He was also a big factor in the Vols’ win against Florida.
Jalen Hurd won’t be fondly remembered, but he’s one of the best players to play at Tennessee.
