Former Tennessee Titans defensive back Daimion Stafford officially has a new home for the 2017 season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Tuesday the signing of former Tennessee Titans defensive back Daimion Stafford.

Stafford was drafted in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Titans. He played his college football at Nebraska.

I know the Titans signed Johnathan Cyprien this off-season, but I’m still surprised they elected to not re-sign Stafford.

The former Cornhusker only started eight games in four years for the Titans, but six of those starts came in 2016.

Stafford compiled 52 total tackles last season, including one sack. He made a name for himself as a hard hitter on special teams and his teammates took notice. They voted him a special teams captain last season.

The Steelers are getting a heck of a player in Stafford. He’s not a future Pro-Bowl player, but he’s someone that makes a team better.
