Ethan Wolf Will Be The Second Leading Receiver On The Team

Tight end Ethan Wolf has had a steady career while at Tennessee, but he’s never truly broke out.

His best season as a Vol came in 2015 when he caught 23 passes for 301 yards.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Wolf have a career year in 2017.

The senior tight end will likely see more targets in Larry Scott’s offense.

Scott, as the former tight ends coach, will undoubtedly get the tight ends more involved in the offense in 2017.

Wolf will also benefit from playing with inexperienced quarterbacks. A tight end can be a safety valve for a young signal caller.

The Vols don’t have a lot of proven receiving options and Wolf could end up being the second most used receiver on the team in 2017 (behind Jauan Jennings of course).
