5. It’s Football Time In Tennessee!

You know it’s go time when you’re in Neyland and you hear “It’s Football Time in Tennessee!” as the game gets underway.

Longtime PA announcer Bobby Denton, who passed away in 2014, made the phrase famous (along with some of his other quips).

Jeff Jarnigan replaced Denton as the PA announcer in 2014, but the spirit of Bobby Denton certainly lives on.
