2010 Season: Tennessee 52 Ole Miss 14

Date: November 13

Location: Neyland Stadium (Knoxville, TN)

Rankings: Both teams unranked

Attendance: 96,044

Why was it the biggest win of the year?

And now we enter the dark ages of Tennessee football.

The Vols’ blowout win of Ole Miss was their first conference win of the 2010 season and also the lat time they beat a team in the SEC West.

But before you get too excited, it’s worth remembering that Ole Miss was a 4-8 team in 2010. So this win isn’t really that impressive, but it’s still probably the best win of the year.

Note: This should be Tennessee’s win over LSU in Baton Rouge, but Derek Dooley…..well I don’t even think I need to explain that.

Note 2: This should be Tennessee’s win over North Carolina in the Music City Bowl, but again….Derek Dooley.
