3. The Titans Will Be One Of The Top Two Teams In The AFC

Not only do I think the Titans will win the AFC South, I also think they’ll be one of the two AFC teams to receive a bye.

The New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs were the top two teams in the AFC last season. The Patriots won 14 games, while the Chiefs won 12 games (but they lost to the Titans….not relevant, just saying).

My thinking here is the AFC West will beat up on each other a little more this season, preventing anyone in the division from reaching 12 wins. I think it’s entirely realistic that Tennessee could win 11 or 12 games, which would put them in decent position to grab a bye.

In order to do this, the Titans will have to dominate the AFC South next season.
