3. Running Game

The NFL might be a passing league now, but a strong ground game can certainly make the difference over the course of a season.

The Titans have two extremely capable running backs in DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry.

Imagine playing against Tennessee and seeing Murray leave the game, only to see a bruiser like Henry step on the field. It really isn’t fair.

The Titans, thanks to their one-two punch of Murray and Henry, should be able to control time of possession more often than not in 2017. As a result, the Titans will be able to effectively wear down opposing defenses.

Rushing for four to five years a down might not be the sexiest play call, but it’s one that will allow you to keep playing deep into January.
