5. State Of The AFC South

When you combine the Titans’ solid roster, with the state of the rest of the AFC South, you basically have a perfect storm.

The Titans clearly have the best collection of talent in the division. They might not have the best wide receiver, defensive end or best quarterback (though that could probably be debated), but they have the best roster top to bottom.

Houston has the best defense, and the best wide receiver (DeAndre Hopkins), but their quarterback situation is worse than bad. I can’t see them winning the division with Tom Savage or a rookie quarterback.

The Colts’ offensive line is still an absolute mess. They have one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Andrew Luck, but he spends more time on the ground than he does in the pocket. He can barely make it through a whole season without getting decimated by opposing defenses.

Oh and the Jaguars. They might actually be the Titans’ biggest competition in the South. They once again killed it in free agency (landing cornerback A.J. Bouye was absolutely huge), but in recent years their results haven’t matched free agent signings.
