Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson recently made an appearance in a Barstool Sports pizza review video.

Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, is on a quest to review every pizza place in New York City.

In one of Portnoy’s latest reviews, he brought along former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson.

Patterson, who signed with the Oakland Raiders this off-season, joined Portnoy in reviewing a pizza from Merilu Pizza.

The former Vol, who was adamant that he’s not a fan of cheese pizza, gave Merilu’s pizza a 9.3. Portnoy gave the pizza an 8.2 — apparently a great score by his standards.

I have no clue what Patterson is doing popping up in this random pizza review, but he looks like he just walked off a construction site (was his hoodie covered in drywall dust?).

Anyway, it’s clearly the off-season if we’re talking about NFL players reviewing pizza.

But I have to admit, I’m suddenly in the mood for a slice or five.

Patterson, however, should probably be a little more focused on getting better in the off-season. He’s getting a fresh start in Oakland, but that doesn’t mean his disappointing start to his NFL career is completely in the past.

If Patterson wants to prove he’s capable of being a starting wide receiver in the NFL, and shed the “bust label”, he has to make it happen in 2017.
