38. Alex Smith — Quarterback — Kansas City Chiefs
It took Alex Smith a while, but he’s finally living up to being the first overall draft pick in 2005.
Smith received a fresh start when he came to Kansas City in 2013 and he’s made the most of his so far. The former Utah standout is now a franchise quarterback and he has two Pro-Bowls to his name to prove it.
2016 was one of Smith’s best seasons of his career. His 328 completions and 3,502 yards were the most of his career. He only threw 15 touchdown passes (against only eight interceptions), but he helped lead the Chiefs to an 11-4 record.
