SEC championship (2013), SEC coach of the year (2013), Birmingham Bowl win

Gus Malzahn is the only coach in the SEC that can get close enough to Nick Saban to even get a sniff.

And he’s still not that close.

Malzahn is the only other coach in the conference to win an SEC Championship and appear in a national championship game.

The offensive wiz is Alabama’s main competition in the SEC in 2017.
