Tennessee Vols: Ranking The SEC Coaches By Accomplishments
By Zach Ragan
13. Derek Mason — Vanderbilt
One bowl game appearance
Derek Mason has done a good job at Vanderbilt, he just doesn’t have much to show for it yet.
Following James Franklin at Vandy isn’t an easy task, but Mason proved in 2016 that he could be a long-term answer for the Commodores.
Mason led Vanderbilt to a bowl game appearance last season, as well as a big win over in-state rival Tennessee.
If Mason can continue to build off that success, he’ll rise up this list.
And if that happens, Vanderbilt will have to do everything in their power to keep Mason from leaving Nashville.
