11. Ed Orgeron — LSU

Citrus Bowl win

Ed Orgeron has a lot of fans. And he’s proved to be a good interim head coach, but he’s never proved he can be an effective head coach.

Orgeron was fired from his last full time head coaching gig (at Ole Miss) after failing to deliver a winning season.

But the former Tennessee defensive line coach impressed LSU decision makers last season, going 6-2 as the Tigers’ head coach after Les Miles was fired.

Orgeron then delivered a Citrus Bowl win — the only bowl game victory of his career.
