Tennessee Vols: Final Pre-Season Game By Game Predictions

This might not seem like an important game for the Vols, but it most definitely is.
We know that Tennessee will win this game, but that’s not why it’s so important.
If the Vols lose the opener to Georgia Tech, they’ll use this game as a tool to figure out what’s wrong offensively, or defensively, and what needs to happen to correct whatever issues the film shows.
But if Tennessee wins the opener, they’ll use the Indiana State game as a tool to delve a little deeper into their identity as a team.
The Vols face a unique challenge in week one against Georgia Tech, which means they’ll have to deviate from who they truly are as a team. What we see against Indiana State will likely be a much clearer representation of who Tennessee will be in 2017.
