1. Alabama Crimson Tide

Alabama lost five defensive starters and they’ll have a new offensive coordinator in 2017.

But they’re still the best team in the conference.

Jalen Hurts makes the Bama offensive dangerous. His added year of experience will probably cause opposing defensive coordinators to lose their collective minds.

Nick Saban has recruited so well at Alabama that it doesn’t really matter how many starters they lose — they’re always ready to just reload.

The Crimson Tide probably won’t make through the regular season unblemished like they did last season, but I still expect them to once again be in the College Football Playoff.
