11. Mississippi State Bulldogs

I’m not quite as high on Mississippi State as most folks.

The Bulldogs have a talented quarterback in Nick Fitzgerald, but he doesn’t have a lot of proven options at wide receiver.

I’m also concerned about Mississippi State’s offensive line — they lost three starters from last season.

My biggest concern for the Bulldogs, however, is the defense. Mississippi State has a new defensive coordinator in 2017, and that always concerns me. It usually takes at least a year for a defensive coordinator to find his groove. I think there could be some rough moments for the Bulldogs in 2017.
