10. South Carolina Gamecocks

Will Muschamp did a lot with a little in 2016.

Considering South Carolina has ten starters returning on offense, I think the Gamecocks will be just fine in 2017.

Sophomore Jake Bentley is a legit SEC quarterback (he proved that against Tennessee last season), and Deebo Samuel is one of the top wide receivers in the conference. South Carolina’s offense should be better in 2017, with the extra year of experience under their belt.

Defensively is where there will be question marks for the Gamecocks.

The defensive line is losing two starters, including Darius English (led the team in sacks last season).

South Carolina does have some nice talent at linebacker — specifically Skai Moore, but their secondary still has some question marks.

If Muschamp can get things clicking defensively for the Gamecocks, they could improve their win total from last season.
