1. Marcus Mariota

If you want to make noise in the NFL, you better have a damn good quarterback.

And finding a good quarterback is something that’s becoming increasingly difficult for NFL franchises.

Fortunately for the Titans, however, they have one of the best young quarterbacks in the league.

Marcus Mariota, the second overall selection in the 2015 NFL Draft, has displayed marked improvement in his first two seasons in the NFL.

As a rookie in 2015, Mariota passed for 2,818 yards with 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 12 games. Those numbers improved in 2016, with Mariota passing for 3,426 yards in 15 games. He threw 26 touchdowns against only nine interceptions last season.

There’s no reason to think that Mariota won’t continue to improve in 2017, and become more of an offensive weapon for the Titans. What Mariota has done in his first two years in the league is quite impressive, considering the difficult time that many young quarterbacks have during their adjustment to the NFL.

I have a feeling that Mariota will become a star in the NFL in 2017, while leading the Titans to their first division title since 2008.
