Kirby Smart — Georgia Bulldogs
Actor: Woody Harrelson
What you know him from: Cheers, White Men Can’t Jump, Hunger Games, True Detective
Why this works: Every time Kirby Smart puts his hands in front of his body and begins to plead with a referee, I think of Woody Harrelson pleading with Rosie Perez in “White Men Can’t Jump”. Harrelson promises Perez that he’s changed, even though we know he hasn’t.
That’s what I get from Smart, even though I know he’s just arguing a call on the field.
Either way, I can see Harrelson channeling Smart’s wild emotions on the sideline, before giving way to complete apathy when it doesn’t things don’t go to plan.
