I’m definitely not buying into the LSU hype. And it’s not so much because of their roster, they’re talented, as it is their coach.
Ed Orgeron is a novelty act. He’s able to have to some short term success, but I don’t think it’s something he can sustain over the length of a season. There’s no way I think the Tigers are better off with him at the helm than they were with Les Miles.
With that said, however, LSU won’t have any problems in the first week of the season. Though I don’t think they’ll cover the 16.5 point spread.
