Arkansas gets the pleasure of kicking off the 2017 season for the SEC. The Razorbacks take the field on Thursday night against a Florida A&M team that should be thoroughly overmatched.
There’s been a lot of talk this off-season about Butch Jones’ job security at Tennessee, but that talk should probably be centered on Bret Bielema.
The former Wisconsin head coach, who was hired by the Razorbacks the same year that Jones was hired at Tennessee, is 25-26 over his first four seasons at Arkansas.
Arkansas needs to get the 2017 season off to a quick start against the Rattlers, because they have a tough non-conference matchup with TCU in week two.
