A lot of analysts seem to be high on Kentucky in 2017, but I’m not seeing it. The offense won’t be quite as good as last season. And there are still plenty of questions on defense. Sure, Kentucky’s secondary should be decent, but up front they could struggle.
However, I don’t think you’ll see those struggles in the first week of the season. Even with the Wildcats opening on the road, I still think they’ll be able to overmatch Southern Mississippi.
