Week one result: Vanderbilt 28 Middle Tennessee State 6

Just like Kentucky, Vanderbilt went on the road in week one to play a team they should beat.

And the Commodores not only managed to win, but they won in a more convincing fashion than Kentucky.

That’s the reason Vandy gets the nod over Kentucky here. I think the Commodores’ defense will keep them in some games this year, but they’ll still likely finish near the bottom of the SEC East.
