The Cardinals have owned the Lions lately, winning seven straight in the series.
Detroit might feel this is their year, with Arizona coming off a losing season, but I wouldn’t be so quick to anoint the Lions in this one.
The Cardinals’ losing season last year was an anomaly. I wouldn’t expect another down year from Bruce Arians and his squad. Carson Palmer gets one of his weapons back, wide receiver John Brown, and he of course has the ever reliable Larry Fitzgerald at his disposal.
Plus there’s Arizona’s defense, which can be quite stifling at times.
I think the Cardinals come away with a big road win against the Lions.
