8. Vanderbilt Commodores

Week two result: Vanderbilt 42 Alabama A&M 0

I’m not sure that Vanderbilt is actually better than Florida.

But based off the season so far, we can’t put Vandy below the Gators.

The Commodores beat a fairly solid Middle Tennessee State team in week one (a team that beat Syracuse in week two) and they looked dominant against Alabama A&M this past week.

At this point, I think Vanderbilt is a bigger threat in the SEC East than Kentucky. But that could change quickly. The Commodores take on Kansas State this week.
