I’m still not sold on Tee Martin as a head coach just yet, but he’s someone you have to consider.

Martin has no head coaching experience, but neither did Bob Stoops, Mark Richt, Dabo Swinney or Jimbo Fisher when they took over their programs.

Perhaps Martin would follow that trend. He’s been around a lot of good coaches, and he knows what it takes to lead a successful program. His lack of experience concerns me, but he’s someone that you’ve got to fully evaluate. Because if there’s a chance that Martin is going to be a great coach, he needs to be a great coach at his alma mater.
