Former head coach at LSU

I don’t love the idea of Les Miles at Tennessee, but he’s someone the Vols could probably get. And he’d have more success than Butch Jones.

Maybe Miles just got burned out at LSU and needed some time off. I don’t really doubt his coaching ability, I just worry about whether or not Tennessee will be looking for another head coach in four or five years.

That’s why I love the idea of Miles coming to Knoxville with Tee Martin as his offensive coordinator. Martin, in this scenario, would be promised the head coaching gig after a four or five year period. It worked for Florida State and Jimbo Fisher, surely it could work for the Volunteers.
