Scott Frost

Head coach at Central Florida

It’s looking like Scott Frost is the real deal. He took over a pretty bad Central Florida team and immediately took them to a bowl game.

And Frost has the Knights off to a 3-0 start this season, including a 40-13 drubbing of Memphis on Saturday.

Frost is a former assistant under Chip Kelly, and it would appear he learned plenty from his old boss and friend.

The only problem with Frost, who I think would be a good coach at Tennessee, is that he’s very likely to end up at Nebraska next season, where he played college football.

But this is still a coach the Vols have to call and gauge his interest. I’m certain he’d have some interest, but it might not be enough to sway him to Rocky Top.
