4. Scott Frost — Head coach at Central Florida

This is the first name of potentially available coaches that gets me excited.

Frost is doing a hell of a job at Central Florida.

The Knights are off to a 5-0 start this season under Frost. They haven’t won a game by less than 27 points this season (they’ve had big wins over Memphis, Cincinnati, and Maryland).

Of course the only problem here is that Tennessee will probably be competing with Nebraska for Frost (where he played in college).

But the Cornhuskers just hired the athletic director from Washington State, so there’s always a chance they go in a different direction.

Frost, who currently makes $1.7 million annually, is someone the Volunteers have to pursue.
