3. Mike Leach — Head coach at Washington State

Despite Washington State’s recent 37-3 loss to California, I still would love to see Mike Leach in Knoxville.

I just think the guy is a good coach. He has very little talent at Washington State. There’s absolutely no reason he should be having success there.

But Leach always finds success with very little talent.

So just imagine what he could do with the talent at Tennessee.

But that leads me to my biggest concern about Leach is that he’s never recruited at a high level. It’s not easy to recruit to Texas Tech or Washington State. But would Leach be able to land top ten classes at Tennessee, or would they be landing classes ranked around 20 to 25.

The only way Leach can be successful in the SEC is he lands top ten classes. That’s the biggest question around him.
