Gary Patterson — Head coach at TCU

I’ve said for quite some time that Gary Patterson isn’t a realistic option at Tennessee.

But a comment that Patterson made recently has me backtracking a bit on that.

I mean that sounds to me like Patterson would entertain other job offers.

Does that mean he’d be willing to come to Tennessee?

There’s no way to know for sure, but I’m sure he’d take the call (as he did once before).

Patterson has a good thing going at TCU, so the Vols would likely have to throw some serious cash at him.

And I think he’d be worth it. He’s led TCU to 10 ten-win seasons since 2001.
