Chip Kelly — Former Oregon Head Coach

The Chip Kelly to Florida talk is strong right now. And I think he’s interested, but I also think he’s just doing his due diligence.

I don’t think Kelly wants to coach in the SEC. And that’s a sentiment that I think a lot of folks share.

Kelly isn’t a big fan of the wining and dining that must be done in the SEC. If he takes the job at UCLA, he can basically focus on just coaching football (and recruiting). He’d mostly be in the background in LA.

But like I said, Kelly is going to cover all his bases. Just because he’s looking into the Florida job, doesn’t mean that’s the move he will make.
