Mike Leach — Washington State head coach

I don’t know how much interest Tennessee will have in Mike Leach, but it sounds like Leach will have some interest in Tennessee.

There’s no doubt Leach would love to be at a school where he would have better resources.

Leach, throughout his career, has done a lot with a little. I don’t know how good of a fit he’d be at Tennessee (he certainly would do well with the media, he tells odd stories to keep from revealing anything important about his team, and the media doesn’t seem to mind).

This wouldn’t be my first choice for the Vols, but I think it would be a solid hire. And I think the Vols would compete for the SEC East on a regular basis under Leach.
