Tennessee Vols Coaching Search: Updated Hot Board

Who will the be the next head coach of the Tennessee Vols?
It seems like every day we have a revised list of coaching options for the Tennessee Vols, but we all now that coaching searches are fluid situations.
After Saturday’s slate of games, I feel confident in removing Mike Gundy’s name from the list. I think his best bet is to stay at Oklahoma State. I’m not sure his teams could provide the defense needed to succeed in the SEC. You can’t get by at Tennessee, or any school in the conference, by trying to outscore opposing teams.
Obviously Jon Gruden is still in play at Tennessee until he’s not. He recently dodged a question about John Currie, so it’s clear that he has no intentions of putting the rumors to bed any time soon.
With all that in mind, here’s our latest hot board of coaching candidates for the Volunteers.
