Jimbo Fisher — Florida State Head Coach

Jimbo Fisher’s name is still being floated for Tennessee’s opening, but I don’t know how serious he is about leaving Florida State.

I think Fisher is probably fishing (pardon the pun) for some sort of raise (he’s a Jimmy Sexton client, so of course his name is on this list), but there’s also the possibility he’s ready to move on from Tallahassee.

Fisher has a proven track record, so I think he could be successful at Tennessee. He has SEC experience, and he has a national championship to his credit. I don’t think there’s much more you can ask for in a potential coach.

The 2017 season has been disappointing for Florida State, so that’s a bit of a concern, but I still think he’s an excellent option for the Vols.
