Jeff Brohm — Purdue Head Coach

I don’t think there’s any way that Tennessee hires Jeff Brohm over Mike Norvell if they get this far down their list. But coaching searches can have a huge ripple effect and we have no idea how this whole thing will shake out this offseason.

Brohm is a good offensive coach, and he’s have a decent year at Purdue (where it’s not easy to win), but it’s also nothing to write home about.

I think Brohm could eventually land in the SEC, but I don’t think he’s quite ready. He needs a few more years at Purdue to prove that he’s ready to lead a SEC program.

If Tennessee hired Brohm, it would be a huge gamble. It would also not please Tennessee fans at all.
