Chris Petersen — Washington Head Coach

This is the biggest long shot on this list. And I hesitate to even include him, but there are rumblings that Petersen could be looking to get out of the Pac-12.

However, I don’t really see Peterson coming to Knoxville. He has no recruiting experience in the south, and I’m not positive he’d be a great fit.

But Petersen is an incredible football coach — one of the best in college football. So he’s obviously a guy that you go after.

Like we’ve said before, John Currie has a reputation for surprising hires. This is one that would certainly shock a lot of folks.
