Whether you think Jon Gruden is a viable candidate or not, you can’t argue that he wouldn’t be a good fit at Tennessee.

Gruden would basically be Tennessee royalty. He has history with Tennessee and his in-laws still live in the area.

And his son goes to school at Tennessee.

The fit doesn’t get any better.

But it’s still very unlikely that Gruden ends up at Tennessee. And even if he does, no one really knows how he’d fare at being a college head coach.

However, fans would love him and have something to be excited about for the first time in a long time.
