Who will be the next head coach of the Tennessee Vols?
It’s been nearly two weeks since the Tennessee Vols fired Butch Jones and we still have no idea who the next head coach on Rocky Top will be.
Jon Gruden rumors were all the rage last week, but that chatter has died down considerably this week.
With the “Grumors” out of the way, we’ve been focusing more on candidates that will likely be in play. It’s mostly a guessing game at this point, since there haven’t been many leaks out there just yet.
That’s mostly because the regular season still has one more week of games left (two weeks if there’s a conference championship involved).
After this weekend, things should move at a more frantic pace.
Anyway, here’s where we think the Vols’ coaching search currently stands and who is being considered.
