Kevin Steele — Auburn Defensive Coordinator

I’m not for this at all.

The only way I think Steele should come back to Tennessee is as a defensive coordinator (I’d be all for that).

There’s just no way Tennessee can hire him as the head coach. He’s nearly 60 years old and his one stint as a head coach didn’t go so well (Baylor was bad, but he didn’t make them any better).

If the Vols go down this road, they’ll be right back here in a couple of years looking for another head coach.

For what it’s worth, I don’t think Fulmer will be considering Lane Kiffin or Mike Leach.
