Josh McDaniels — New England Patriots Defensive Coordinator

Josh McDaniels will likely be one of the top head coaching targets in the NFL for the 2018 season.

But I would expect McDaniels to be very picky about which job he takes (if he even leaves the Patriots).

McDaniels has already been a head coach once — leading the Denver Broncos to a 8-8 record in 2009, before he was fired after a 3-9 start in 2010.

Things didn’t work out in Denver, but I’m also not sure McDaniels was quite ready to lead a NFL team.

However, after leading the Patriots’ offense for the last six seasons, I think the time is right for McDaniels to be a head coach in the NFL again.

I also think the Titans’ roster would be attractive to McDaniels.
