Steve Wilks — Carolina Panthers Defensive Coordinator

Steve Wilks has coached in the NFL since the 2006 season. He spent a decade as a position coach with the Bears, Chargers, and Panthers, before being named the defensive coordinator in Carolina prior to the 2017 season.

Wilks picked up right where Sean McDermont left off (McDermont was hired as the Buffalo Bills’ head coach after a successful run as the Panthers’ defensive coordinator).

This wouldn’t be a very inspiring choice for the Titans, but I could see him being on their short list.

Though it’s very likely he will be near the bottom of the list.
