Mike Vrabel — Houston Texans Defensive Coordinator

I’m not sure Vrabel is quite ready to be a head coach (he’s only coached in the NFL for four seasons and he’s in his first as a coordinator), but he’s a former Patriot so he’ll be on short lists.

If you’re going to run a successful NFL franchise, it’s probably best to emulate what works.

And it’s clear that nothing works better than the Patriots model.

Is that something Vrabel would be able to replicate?

That’s the gamble the Titans would be taking if they hired Vrabel. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s someone Tennessee talks to, but I think he’ll be down the list a bit.
