Former Vols: Tee Martin’s Son Kaden Offered By Alabama
By Zach Ragan
Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Tee Martin has another son that will soon be playing college football.
Kaden Martin, the son of former Tennessee Vols quarterback Tee Martin, received a scholarship offer from the Alabama Crimson Tide on Sunday.
Martin, an eighth grader who plays quarterback, was offered earlier this year by FAU’s Lane Kiffin.
Tee Martin already has one son playing at the college level. His oldest son, Amari Rodgers, is a true freshman at Clemson.
Rodgers signed with Clemson earlier this year, despite living in Knoxville and being the son of a Vol legend.
In 11 games this season, Rodgers has caught 18 passes for 107 yards. He had a season high three receptions in the ACC championship game against Miami.
As for Kaden, who knows how the landscape of the college football world will look in 2022. I seriously doubt Kiffin will still be at FAU (despite the extension he recently signed), and there’s a decent chance Saban isn’t at Alabama in 2022 (he will turn 71 in 2022, but he’s all about coaching, so he could very well still be in the business). And I seriously doubt Tee Martin will still be at USC, which could also affect Kaden’s recruitment (especially if Tee is a head coach somewhere).
By the way, it should be noted that Mike Locksley, the co-offenisve coordinator at Alabama who is recruiting Kaden, gave Tee his first job in college football. Locksley hired Martin as his wide receivers coach in 2009 at New Mexico.

So it’s not a surprise that Locksley is offering the middle school son of one of his former coaches.
