4. Titans With A Chance To Make History

Only two teams in NFL history have won the Super Bowl as a number six seed.

The 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers and the 2010 Green Bay Packers are the only teams to barely make the playoffs and go on to win the sport’s biggest game.

Tennessee, by virtue of their win against the Chiefs, still has a chance to join the Packers and the Steelers in this exclusive club.

Some folks think this might be looking ahead a bit, and maybe they’re right, but I don’t think you can discount the type of momentum that Saturday’s win created.

Winning at New England is a daunting task. It’s not something many teams have been able to do.  But the Patriots have displayed some cracks in the armor in recent weeks. And Tom Brady isn’t getting any younger. The Titans could be facing the Patriots at just the right moment.

If the Titans are able to get past New England, they aren’t a team I’d want to face in the AFC Championship game or in the Super Bowl.
