Steve Wilks — Carolina Panthers Defensive Coordinator

Again, I don’t think the Titans will go the defensive route, but anything can happen in a coaching search.

The Titans will reportedly interview Steve Wilks, who just finished his first season as the Carolina Panthers’ defensive coordinator. Wilks did a fantastic job in 2017, helping the Panthers achieve a top ten defense.

Wilks has a been a head coach once before in his career, in 1999 at Savannah State.

Career:

  • Johnson C. Smith — Defensive coordinator (1995–1996)
  • Savannah State — Defensive coordinator (1997–1998)
