It’s Alvin Kamara’s world and we’re all just living in it.

Former Tennessee Vols running back Alvin Kamara has no mercy when it comes to owning fans on Twitter.

Kamara, who is currently racking up all kinds of rookie of the year awards, was recently the recipient of a tweet from an apparent Minnesota Vikings fan who decided to give the former Vol some grief over the Saints’ last second loss in the divisional round of the playoffs.

The fan decided to come at Kamara over his affinity for “Airheads” and the fact that he was feeling pretty confident about the Saints’ chances of advancing to the NFC Championship game.

But the fan wasn’t ready for Kamara (I don’t think anyone has been ready for Kamara this year).

I’m not sure what time that young man’s funeral is, but he’ll certainly be in my thoughts and prayers.

The fan attempted to reverse course and it didn’t work out so well for him.

I think the lesson for him is if you’re a fan on Twitter, don’t tweet athletes talking smack to them. You’re never ever going to win.

And your mentions are going to be full all day of folks calling you an idiot.

By the way, there aren’t many athletes that care about your negative thoughts.

I realize there’s some irony in this statement because I’m a blogger, but I can confidently say I’ve never tweeted at an athlete and talked smack (except JJ Watt, but that doesn’t count).

So be like me, don’t tweet your negativity at athletes (unless it’s JJ Watt).
